The Cigar Lounge

An absurdist comedy about toxic masculinity. Cheryl, a single mother, is called into work at the White Knight Cigar Lounge on her day off by her “male feminist” boss, Maurice. She is pushed to the breaking point by four tables of different kinds of toxic men - vampiric mega-billionaires, childish finance bros, barely literate meatheads, and an incel that’s trying to pick her up.

Debuted at the Unstageable Fest at the Brick Theater in 2019.

All That Glitters Is Sold

Jez and Stancey, two hot-shot “producers” and con-men, won a $5,000 performing arts grant in a lawsuit against Purdue Pharma. They decide to host and produce a revue show with four plays called All That Glitters Is Sold.

First play: The Brand 5 - a schlubby man is remade by personifications of corporate brands.

Second play: Good Star Wars - Jim, a socially awkward man at a party, gets trapped in a conversation with Brian, a very opinionated Star Wars fan.

Third play: The Ballad of Carla Tuckerson - a right-wing media icon gets “cancelled” all the way to the U.S. Senate.

Fourth play: A Twitter Carol - Norman, a Gen Z leftist, is taken off social media and reintroduced to nature by Francis, a hippie angel.

Not Paul

Mary and Ethan are a new couple about to make things official. Ethan finds out about Mary’s ex-boyfriend, Paul, who she dated for five years. Paul is a perfect human being - extraordinarily talented, intelligent, and accomplished. Even worse, the people in Mary’s life are obsessed with Paul, and they hate Ethan for not being Paul.
